!Web O'Land is a world without cybersecurity. People have never heard of buzzwords, such as encryption, privacy, security, data integrity validation, censorship, cyber-attacks, or ransomware. It is a passwordless world. It is the World Wide Web as it was originally envisioned. No one has ever considered exploiting users' data from financial information, health issues, travel plans, or spending. No one ever spreads misinformation, disinformation, or deepfakes to cause political instability and mass atrocities. However, we come from a place where your personal information was a valuable commodity. No matter who you are, there would always be people interested in having it. However, this society and, therefore, the internet has been largely built on trust.
People of Web O’Land religiously follow all democratic principles for an open internet. An open internet is cyberspace where people can freely express themselves without fear of repercussions and collaborate for social, political, cultural, or other purposes. It promotes diversity and inclusion of everyone, including marginalized populations. Every individual can communicate, share information, or create content online in the language of their choice. The government ensures the internet remains open and accessible to strengthen democratic engagement. Moreover, the government nevers ask ISPs to remove content without legal justification or monitor online communities with filtering software. At the same time, people act responsibly by staying away from illegal actions and not exploiting other people's personal information for personal gain. Personal safety is respected and fulfilled online. I feel so out of place in Web O'Land. What will I do here? Who am I going to fight if there are no cyber criminals? Let's go back to our country.
